Bike Wedding Getaway 2011

A bride and groom married in Very active couples may want to incorporate their favorite pastime into their reception exit. It was certainly a send off that will not ever be forgotten. The bride and groom threw off their formal attire revealing their swimsuits underneath, stripped the tarp off of the mystery item, and floated away down the river in...an inflatable dragon boat! Then at the end of the party, they got their answer.

The guests could not help but wonder what on earth it could be, and why the bride and groom had not insisted that such an eyesore be moved. Except except for the large tarp covered mound off to one side. Everything about the day was beautiful; the flowers were gorgeous, the food was delicious, the bride's handcrafted bridal jewelry was stunning, and the decorations were impeccable. One of the most fun send offs I ever heard about took place at an outdoor reception held on the shore of a river. (This is a custom that has faded somewhat, as newlyweds are often choosing to stay at the reception and dance all night, but I think that the formal exit is a charming tradition.) Certainly you can make your get away in a classic limousine, but some couples decide to leave the reception in a more unique and dramatic fashion.

Then it is time for the couple to make their grand exit from the reception, with all of the assembled guests cheering as they dash off to the honeymoon.  You have had a beautiful wedding ceremony, and hosted a lovely reception.
